Economic Modeling Specialists International (EMSI), a research arm of CareerBuilder, recently pulled data from nearly 100 job boards to analyze the number of advertised openings per field. 

According to their findings, the top 10 jobs with the most openings going into 2015 are:

  • Software Developer
  • Registered Nurse
  • Industrial Engineer
  • Network Administrator
  • Web Developer
  • Medical Services Manager
  • Physical Therapist
  • Speech Pathologist
  • Sales Manager

The drive for marketing leaders is directly aligned with employers’ heightened interest in perfecting their company brand, while the health care reform laws paired with an aging population have led to a need for more health care professionals. 

In tech, big data is leading the industry, with an estimated 14 million new IT jobs globally by next year, according to Forbes.
