Senior Managing Director of Executive Search

The  Position

The Senior Managing Director of Executive Search will oversee sales & delivery of the Executive Search business.  They must create and drive the Executive Search strategy while also ensuring we exceed all client expectations.  Partnering with other key department leaders will be key to their success.  Understanding and promoting all company Core Values enterprise wide while also leading by example, is essential.  They will report into the SVP of Sales & Delivery.

The Ideal Candidate

You may be an ideal candidate for this  role if… 
  • Create and drive Executive Search strategy, including ongoing team expansion
  • Ensure Executive Search team is at necessary headcount to exceed annual company revenue goals
  • Achieve Executive Search annual revenue goal
  • Sell at least 50% of Executive Search deals while also maintaining profitability goal and closing PI deals
  • Monitor project plans weekly to ensure projects are consistently in the green
  • Partner with Head of Delivery, Customer Success Leader, Sales Leader (when appropriate) to drive one team mentality and help them achieve team KPIs
  • Ensure all company delivery processes are understood and followed across the board, including monitoring Crelate to ensure data management & reporting standards
  • Maintain budgeted utilization rates
  • Develop all Executive Search team members by creating and discussing monthly/annual career development plans to ensure succession planning
  • Keep at least 5 weekly hours of white-space and self development

Job Requirements

  •  A track record of success in closing deals with C-Suite and other Executive levels
  • Success in recruiting and filling C-suite and other Executive level roles
  • An overall ability to drive sales revenue and achieve/exceed revenue goals
  • Familiarity in creating and driving business strategy while achieve relevant milestones
  • Strong interpersonal, phone and computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • ATS experience
  • CRM experience
  • Microsoft Office experience

Education 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
  • REI Certification (including Results Based Interviewing) – within 30 days of hire
  • CFS Certification – within 30 days of hire
  • PI Certification – within 30 days of hire
  • Emotional Intelligence Certification – within 90 days of hire
