Job Summary

The Web Developer is responsible for innovative designing, coding and modifying of multiple brand websites, from layout to function. This individual will handle both server-side and front-end logic while striving to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. The Web Developer will contribute to the overall cohesiveness, functionality and appearance of website elements such as navigation tools, page layout templates, images and widgets/modules, site content and pages by coordinating with the marketing team, ensuring website cross-browser compatibility, including link integrity and overall quality.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Create website layout/user interface to develop visually stunning user-driven websites
  • Support, design, maintain and execute aspects of core pages, landing pages, microsites, mobile optimized sites, mobile apps including content, link and other site updates
  • Develop or enhance web-based applications, responsive websites or pages, blogs/forums, and native mobile apps using programming technologies
  • Proactively perform cross-browser testing and optimizations
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
  • Address technical issues such as browser updates, broken links, new functionality requirements and integration with marketing automation software
  • Participate in and develop the design and management of web-based documents requiring database integration
  • Identify and implement software and systems solutions to improve workflow for all applications


Position Requirements:

  • Minimum three years of web development experience in a professional environment
  • Experience with site speed optimization and deploying websites on external hosts
  • Familiar with Open Source eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento) and payment gateways (e.g., Payment Express, PayPal, etc.)
  • Experience working with back-end DNS hosting services
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript and Wordpress
  • Familiarity with SFTP, Pardot, Salesforce and content strategy is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment on a variety of projects

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
