Software company Bullhorn announced Wednesday the buying of MaxHire and Sendouts, two companies previously considered rivals to the technology provider. The purchases make Bullhorn one of the largest staffing technology providers in the world, according to TLNT. The acquisition puts Bullhorn at approximatley 5,000 firms with about 50,000 users in 150 countries, according to Bullhorn.
Bullhorn CEO and co-founder Art Papas called the news "an incredible moment for Bullhorn customers" in his public announcement of the acquisition. Both MaxHire and Sendouts will now operate under the Bullhorn name, but customers will continue to use the same software and support they currently have within each brand. Bullhorn is working on a system that will incorporate innovations from MaxHire, Sendouts and Bullhorn for the future. The new platform could be out as soon as next year, according to Staffing Industry Analysts.
