The Qualigence Cares Foundation, a nonprofit led by Qualigence International, has proudly surpassed its 2015 donation goal of $100,000.

The more than $100,000 in donations went directly to local organizations such as Wheels 4 Warriors, Autism Alliance of Michigan, St. Paul’s Food Pantry, and the Fallen & Wounded Soldiers Fund.

“It is our obligation to help those that need a little support,” said Qualigence International CEO Steve Lowisz. “We are proud to be able to truly make a positive impact for individuals in our local community.”

The Qualigence Cares “Q Impact Team” participated in several charitable events throughout the year to make the donations possible.

Team members and their families participated in the Autism Alliance of Michigan Hero Walk at the Detroit Zoo in June. In July, Qualigence Cares donated trek bicycles and riding gear to local veterans as part of Wheels 4 Warriors. The bicycles provided veterans with a means of transportation to employment.

During the holidays, Qualigence Cares donated Thanksgiving goods and Meijer gift cards to local veterans in need through the Fallen & Wounded Soldiers Fund.

In addition to monetary donations, the Q Impact team donated time to Gleaner’s Community Foodbank of Southeastern Michigan. The team volunteered at the Plymouth farm location in order to help provide healthy food to local kitchens.
