Qualigence Recruiting Consultant

Job Summary

The Recruiting Consultant will identify and engage with qualified candidates for direct hire placements with our clients. This individual will establish a consultative relationship with our clients and cultivate professional and trusting relationships with potential candidates. The Recruiting Consultant is client service-focused and will be instrumental in filling positions of all capacities for our clients across a wide variety of industries.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and recruit qualified candidates for four to six (4-6) projects at a time.
  • Establish personable and respectful relationships with candidates to educate them about the history and cultural background of the client.
  • Communicate details of the position, including responsibilities and requirements, to prospective candidates.
  • Implement and oversee recruiting project objectives while prioritizing client projects based on deadlines and client urgency.
  • Track and report progress by keeping detailed notes in Applicant Tracking System.
  • Interact directly with Research, Account Managers, Sales Consultants and clients regarding assigned projects.
  • Utilize strong, persuasive communication skills in order to sell opportunities to prospective candidates.
  • Provide client with continual feedback regarding updates on their recruiting projects.
  • Ensure that time spent on projects is within client parameters.
  • Provide daily updates to Recruiting Manager on status of recruiting assignments and candidate development; sit in on client calls when necessary.
  • Share best practice techniques with other Recruiters to enhance effectiveness of others.
  • Work in a team atmosphere where the overall objective is to meet clients’ recruiting needs within their deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements and Competencies

  • Minimum 2 years recruiting and/or sourcing experience in a professional environment.
  • Client service-focused.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching and cold calling.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and online platforms.
  • Driven attitude that thrives on success.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to experiment with alternative techniques to obtain successful results.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and interest in the recruiting industry.
  • Strong computer, phone and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment on a variety of projects.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
