If this sounds like you, you may be a great fit for our business development officer position (BDO). As a BDO, you’ll play a foundational role in the sales process by bringing in new accounts. Your work as a BDO will be key to growing the business and helping Qualigence expand into new markets. 

LOCATION: You can work remotely or on-site at our Livonia office (or both), wherever you are most comfortable.

The Business Development Officer Position

As a BDO, your #1 responsibility will be to close new business. You’ll leverage phone calls, email, social media, and other channels to identify new sales opportunities and engage with prospects. You’ll maintain professional relationships with these prospects and partner with the client success team to ensure successful hand-off of new projects. Additionally, you’ll ensure the client success team has everything they need to provide exceptional service to the client. Success in this role means achieving personal revenue goals and bringing in a minimum of two new logos each month.

The Ideal Candidate

You may be an ideal candidate for the BDO role if:

  • You’re highly-motivated and ready to do whatever it takes to succeed
  • You’re not afraid to make cold calls and aggressively pursue new opportunities
  • You’re able to roll with the punches and keep your eyes on the prize when you face setbacks in sales

Candidate Requirements

  • Progressive experience in sales or customer service as a top-performer

  • Ability to form professional relationships with C-suite executives and leaders

  • A passion for building a new sales structure

  • IT sales preferred
