Account Manager


LOCATION: LIVONIA, MI
FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Summary

The Account Manager is client focused and will gain a strong knowledge and understanding of the complete sales, research and recruiting process as it relates to projects. The Account Manager will be driven by the challenge and success of providing information our clients require within the sales process. This process will include the responsibility to increase and expand upon sales while meeting and exceeding clients’ expectations. Strong project management skills will greatly impact the Qualigence reputation of accurate and effective results. This individual will receive direction and report to the Manager, Account Management.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Manage all research and recruiting requests, along with the facilitation of information to the client about their assignments.
Communicate with clients on a regular basis regarding updates and status of projects.
Work as a conduit to ensure Solutions Consultanta adhere to sales process.
Communicate client project priorities and challenges to BSolutions Consultants and the Research and Recruiting management team on a daily basis.
Coordinate conference calls and organize correspondence with other Lines of Business (LOB’s) for purposes of project status to the client.
Develop and maintain respectful relationships with all internal and external clients.
Build rapport with assigned clients as a respected resource and partner in their business.
Prioritize client assignments based on deadlines and client urgency.
Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure that client expectations and deadlines are established and adhered to.
Be proactive in calling clients via telephone to expand relationship.
Accept assigned projects from Solutions Consultants, or the client, with a commitment for delivering excellent customer service.
Efficiently document individual time spent on each project so that clients can be invoiced accurately. Average billable time should be at least 50%.
Be an effective team player in an atmosphere where the overall objective is to meet our clients’ research and recruiting deadlines.
Represent Qualigence in a professional manner in all communication with clients.
Encourage and solicit feedback from clients to ensure project accuracy.
Effectively grow assigned portfolio according to the established goal.
Accept additional responsibilities when required.

Position Requirements and Competencies:

Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to multi-task
Excellent telephone communication skills
Previous client service and account management experience necessary
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows based applications and Salesforce.com
Ability to work in a fluid environment
Knowledge and interest in the recruiting industry
Experience in a sales capacity and research experience strongly preferred
Must display dedication and commitment to the role with a “do what it takes” attitude

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
